Moses and Prophets

This blog looks at how Moses and the other writing prophets are likely from the lineage of Joseph. Then, updates on the 400 app, especially the Exodus stories. Also, some serious notes on my strange work week. Finally, a headline review including the summit in Alaska and Gaza.

Messiah From Joseph?

Ryan is currently reading a book that surveys historical documentation that suggests there would be a Messiah from the tribe of Joseph. This is a different historical witness to what is normally known about the Jewish Messiah expected from David, so Judah. There is a long list of documentation that supports this idea.

Ryan has told me enough from this book, that I will probably read it myself and give a detailed book report here in a future blog. There is plenty of historical evidence that the Jews ALSO expected a Messiah from Joseph. Either Joshua was from both, or the Jews missed something.

In our work of weeding out the edits, we generally have reached this same conclusion. Joshua is from Joseph. So this book Ryan is reading is an interesting witness to some of our own work.

Ryan saw this book as possibly providing some context to solve some other textual riddles we still have in the text. In this blog I want to take you through one of those riddles, and suggest the New Testament writers did indeed expect someone from Joseph.

In preparing this blog I ultimately found those writers had even more to say on this point. Jacob will ultimately tell us that ALL inspired writers are always from Joseph. But first, let me explore the problem so you can understand some of the context and contradictions.

John 1:44-46

The link here is to a passage in John, in the BRB, that I want to draw your attention to here. This is likely where we are learning that the ghost writer for the Gospel of John was Nathanael. As that writer, he tells us how he originally met Joshua.

John 1:45, quoted in whole, reads "Philip found Nathanael and said to him, He who is written about by Moses in the law and in the prophets we have found is Joshua son of Joseph from Nazareth."

Now, pay close attention to how Nathanael answers at the start of vs. 46. "Can anything good come from Nazareth?"

Notice the structure of Philip's argument, and notice where Nathanael disputes Philip's argument.

Philip's argument is 1) that there was writing to expect someone. 2) That writing is in Moses, the law and the prophets. 3) That Joseph is the family line for this man. 4) That this expected man is Joshua who has been found in Nazareth.

Note we normally read Joshua son of Joseph as meaning Miriam's husband Joseph. So modern readers are normally treating "son of Joseph" as the father's name and not the family or tribal name. This is a point of trouble for modern readers.

We need to accept from other writing, say Luke 1:26-38, that Joshua was born of a virgin. So Joseph as Miriam's husband can only be a type, itself pointing back at the tribe. Remember, Joshua is named for Joshua son of Nun, ultimately from Joseph.

Nathanael answers Philip in a way to indicate that 1) Nathanael accepts that there is writing. 2) That Nathanael accepts where that writing is found, including Moses, the law and the prophets. 3) That Nathanael accepts Joseph as the expected tribal lineage.

Where Nathanael finally objects is only to Philip's last point, that Nazareth does not seem like the expected place for finding this expected man. Nathanael is picking off the tail at the end of the chain that makes up Philip's general argument.

Philip's answer to that problem is to introduce Nathanael to Joshua. This because Joshua's personality will be better than that expected from the people in Nazareth. Nathanael's gut is correct.

We know from Luke 4:28-28 that the people of Nazareth would want to throw Joshua off a cliff. So Philip and Nathanael agree about the character of Nazareth. They are not people who would be expected to raise the expected Messiah. Philip can refute that tail on Nathanael's counter argument simply by having Nathanael visit Joshua. Philip says to Nathanael, "Come, and you will see."

So within this passage is a subtle argument pointing at the tribe of Joseph that misses most modern readers, in part because of our expectation of a Jewish messiah ultimately from the tribe of Judah. We also miss it in part because we don't see the father's name Joseph matching the family name, ultimately the tribal name, of Joseph.

The book Ryan is reading easily supports the idea that early Jewish readers of this passage would not have missed these points and would have accepted it as an argument for a Messiah from Joseph. This idea was well known.

No Cite

If you continue to look at this John 1:45-46 passage in the BRB you will see that Ryan has marked this passage with a normal Quote style cross reference. He uses these to cross link quotes to/from other passages. In this case, Philip says he is quoting earlier writing, indeed, he even indicates the general locations where this is found.

But the problem is nobody knows where these original writings are actually found. So Ryan gives the actual cite as "Unknown." There is no actual operating link the BRB app because the other end of the quote really is unknown.

So how do we get an unknown cite in an inspired text?

There are several possible solutions to what source document Philip was using and which Nathanael was accepting as authoritative. 1) This may have been a manuscript that does not match ours today. So an un-edited copy might have been available to them. 2) Joshua himself may have already recovered such a document, which might have been available to Philip and Nathanael. 3) Textual variants were also common in history, so Philip and Nathanael may have shared a variant of the accepted text.

It is also possible that 4) there was extra-biblical writing attached in some way to "Moses, the law and the prophets." So perhaps commentaries on these documents. Or even copies of ciphered documents created from those base documents that were by then floating around loose, disconnected from the history and context of otherwise ciphered documents. We will return to this possibility in a future blog.

This problem of modern readers not able to find the source documents is a problem we will be able to address better once we are through recovery and cipher work, hopefully this coming winter. In any case, this dialog between Philip and Nathanael is testimony to their use of a document family that does not simply survive to us today.

So let me wander down the other branch of their conversation. They were expecting someone from Joseph. Why would this matter? We can ask a related question that begins to tease out this bigger topic.

How Many Writers Were From Joseph?

Let me back up here and ask a more general question. This is a question Ryan and I have been struggling through here recently. Once past the time of Jacob, how many inspired writers are there that might be from the tribe Joseph?

The most obvious and prolific of those is the prophet Samuel. We learn in 1 Samuel 1 that Samuel's father was Elkanah from Ephraim. This establishes Samuel as from Joseph. Samuel has quite a bit of writing, including all of Judges as well as writing from his own day.

Samuel also appears to be the last public keeper of the Tent of Time, and any post-Samuel inspired writers would need to have access to those items. How would that access happen? Consider, we are looking for David's fallen tent to be restored much later in time. The public copy of the Tent of Time was lost when those later authors actually wrote parts of the text.

The most reasonable answer is that those items were kept through some sort of hidden family line. In other words, those items became personal property of Samuel's heirs. Public ownership, as setup in Moses' day, would no longer work because the public, the king, from Solomon forward, was now against the original contract and those items.

So there is a reasonable line of argument that the disappearance of those items from public view was answered by those objects going into the hands of a more limited family, like they had been from Abraham through Joseph himself.

The rest of the prophets going forward are hard to establish by trustworthy family lines. Much of what documentation does exist in the text crosses through Chronicles which we don't expect to be inspired at all. But writers had to have known the inspired writing system so they must have had access to those now hidden items, again likely in the hands of Samuel's heirs.

The danger to that family, and to those items, is discovery by agents of the king who dislike what would have been to them the ancient religion. So the farther away from that family that an inspired writer might be, the greater the risk to the core Tent of Time articles.

So accept for this argument that those items always existed through the time when the text was being written. But those items were "underground" and generally hidden from the public.

Markers of Heirs of Joseph

If we look again for types and patterns that might mark heirs of Joseph, so heirs of Samuel, there are 2 obvious examples. The first example is going to be Job. The double portion pattern seen at the end of Job's life is a marker back to the double portion holder of the patriarch Joseph.

So Job can be more confidently tied back to Joseph. As I have explored here previously, Job had the unenviable task of rebuilding those items which he had when he was young and then rebuilt when he was old. So Job was likely in the line of succession down from Samuel. He is also the best example of how the king seems to have found out what Job owned, and tried to get rid of it. This is more evidence as to why it would have generally been an underground set of items.

When looking at writers by types and patterns, the other possible writer that ties to Joseph is Moses himself. This is long before Samuel, but it is interesting enough to look at more carefully.

The general pattern with Moses are the matches between entering Egypt, under Joseph's care, and leaving Egypt under Moses' care. The book ends of that time in history want Joseph involved at both ends. Beyond that general structure, we also see that Moses was raised in Pharaoh's house. Joseph also finished growing into adulthood in Pharaoh's Egypt. Both were close to the royal throne of Egypt.

Trouble With Moses

With Moses, though, we have text that indicates Moses was from the tribe of Levi. See Exodus 2:1-2 for the references that tie Moses' parents directly back to Levi.

There is also a genealogy starting at Exodus 6:13 that provides the family record, an elaborate genealogy. It ties Moses and Aaron back to the family of Levi as well.

Both of these passages may be either additions or edits. To test this we look around for clues, perhaps some passage shows Moses NOT from Levi?

There are some clues of trouble here. The biggest trouble is Jacob's blessing over Simeon and Levi in Genesis 49:5-7. Jacob does not want to enter their counsels. Those brothers don't think or teach or act correctly.

So Jacob is giving us something like the Acts 15 rules of what readers should NOT be reading. In Jacob's case he is indicating that anything from Levi or Simeon should be ignored.

That Moses is a Levite means that everything Moses wrote is subject to being ignored by readers like us because of Jacob's blessing. Jacob is in effect telling us to ignore Moses' writing, at least if Moses is really from Levi. This is the strongest and most obvious contradiction that indicates that some later editor shifted Moses to Levi.

The 2 edits that shift Moses to Levi are 1) the tribe of Moses' parents. In that case only a word substitution would change his tribe. This name change, from say Joseph to Levi, is much less severe than substituting the divine name, which was done everywhere. Then 2) the addition of, or changes to, the genealogies of Moses must also be wrong in some way. Moses' genealogy is curiously not needed for the trunk timeline.

By fixing those 2 edits, Moses becomes free to shift to some other tribe, say Joseph.

As I was writing up this blog I was taken to a definitive verse that is the grand daddy contradiction that shows all writers after Joseph must be heirs of Joseph. Our deductions on Moses are correct, but for an even simpler reason. Let me show you.

Jacob 5:10 (BRB)

The link here is to a story in the Book of Jacob. At the introduction of this book Jacob indicates he is writing to the 12 tribes, scattered. Jacob structures his book around a run of the tribes themselves, in the normal Revelation 7 tribal order. Everything he says is specific commentary on the nature of each of the various tribes. By the verse at 5:10, linked above, Jacob has turned his attention to the tribe of Joseph. The BRB has the tribes marked using headings, and above this verse you can find "11: Tribe of Joseph."

Let me quote that key verse, "My brothers, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Master for an example of patience of spirit in your affliction."

What Jacob is indicating here, in a very subtle way, is that ALL the writing prophets are from Joseph. It is one of the special things that is specific to Joseph. So from this we can deduce that any contraction in the text, say Moses' genealogy, is either edited or an addition. This cite in Jacob is also showing the Chronicles genealogies must be false as well. So Isaiah, son of Amos, from Tekoa, ultimately of Judah, has some editing going on somewhere in Isaiah's family line. Amos and Isaiah must ultimately be from Joseph.

What this Jacob story is doing is bringing a gun to this sword fight. (Hat tip to Indiana Jones.:) The minor prophets, Ezekiel, and even Daniel, are all going to be out of that same family lineage down from Joseph, most likely even in the lineage down from Samuel.

Joshua himself is going to be out of that family line, so the historical evidence for a Messiah from Joseph is going to ultimately win over the more common idea that he was expected from David and thus from Judah. This argument also suggests that all the various New Testament writers will also ultimately be in the family lineage of Joseph.

Those New Testament writers were generally from Samaritan territory, which is already pointing at Joseph. But more definitively, as prophetic inspired writers, they too must ultimately fall under Jacob's claim that the prophets are from Joseph.

As a final point, it would also suggest that any recovery of the inspired text should also happen in Joseph. Not in Judah nor Benjamin as some might think. Ryan and I are not in the wrong place. Most readers of this blog are also not in the wrong place.

400 App Updates

The link here is to the 400 app. This week Ryan has been working on the Exodus row, so stories 50 through 74. So if you are closely following his work you will want to take a look at that row.

The main feature of that row is how the material is from Exodus and Leviticus. But note that Leviticus material is only in the final cell, the Quad.

Ryan was able to crack this row after he realized each cell in the row was itself loosely matching topically to the entire rows running down the table.

There is much to see in that Exodus row. Let me hint at some examples to get you going. Story 52 is on the center negative diagonal and so would be where the story is informing its own row. In this story Moses is sent to Egypt to deliver the people. A fine match to the row.

Stories 54, 55, 56 and 57, letters Du, Fe, Ve and Jo, contain the various plagues stories. These align with rows Du, Fe, Ve and Jo, which are Judges and then 3 rows dealing with kings.

The key insight here is that having Judges and Kings is like having plagues. It implies that the heirs of Jacob who came out of Egypt rebuilt Egypt in their own land. It also implies the Assyrian Deportation was deliverance from Egypt, leaving the promised land was not a curse, but instead was a blessing like leaving Egypt was also a hard blessing. So the Jews returning to modern Israel in 1948 was also a rebuilding or returning to Egypt. So NOT a good thing. They will eventually need deliverance from their own Egypt.

Going back to the Exodus row. The center 2 stories, 61 and 62, are the Ku/Lu pair. Story 61 is bringing Joseph's bones and then the actual red sea crossing. Story 62 is the song of Moses. Running down the rows of the table itself you find 61, Ku, will line up with Proverbs. Joseph's bones are symbolic of the alphabet. Proverbs are probably alphabet training phrases. The 600 charioteers who die in the sea should ultimately be a total count of the proverbs themselves. (24 * 25 = 600, suggesting the pace across the Proverbs row.) Story 62, the Song of Moses, will line up with the row of Psalms, so 1 song in Exodus matching the many songs in Psalms.

From story 65 forward the Exodus account generally shifting to setting up the Tent of Time. This is aligning with rows in the New Testament, a curious match. The last story on the Exodus row, 74, Leviticus, especially Leviticus 26, so all about the 7 times, will line up with the Book of Revelation which also has a recurring theme built around the number 7.

The various Vine and River pair foldings between cells on the row are also generally working across this row. As a reminder, all this work is subject to revision, and there may especially be some adjustments dealing with exactly where the story breaks should be placed. This work in Exodus is great progress towards figuring out the entire table. Still much work to do.

Picking Up Watch Dates

The last big headline was the Putin/Trump summit in Anchorage, Alaska, that took place on Friday, 2025-08-15. It was happening as last week's blog went out so I waited to this week to review.

In Putin's closing remarks he mentioned how strange it is to fly across the international date line and see the calendar day change. For him, it was like stepping back in time. This was a prophetic hint that the correct calendar date for that summit should be thought of as 2025-08-16.

That summit was the likely match to the 2025-08-16 prophetic date for the last year when Abdon Judges, see Judges 12:14. It was already August 16 in Russia. Abdon has few details, but there are details dealing with riding on colts and his burial details. Putin did give a motorcycle (so a colt) to a man from Alaska. Putin also visited the graves of Soviet era Russian fighters that are located at Sitka. He placed flowers on those graves. Link to videos for both of these fulfillment stories are given below.

The following day, 2025-08-17, Sunday, starts the replay of the life of Samson. The replay of his death is 2025-09-05. Trump has been talking about trying to finish the peace negotiations over Ukraine by early September. September 5 is a little later than Trump might hope, but we will watch that date for more on this story.

Shop Work

This week the front tiles of the Script exhibit were finished 3d printing. Next up are the panels for the back. The rungs for the Ladder exhibit were mostly finished, the last few parts should come off the printers about the time this blog goes out.

The racking problem in one of the Voron printers was finally successfully calibrated away. The recently ordered MK4 also arrived this week. So now I have 2 printers waiting to be assembled in the shop.

Interruption

My normal work flow this week was interrupted in a very strange way. I know we have young people who follow this blog who may one day be in ministry themselves. I want to recount what happened as a general lesson about how calls from Joshua sometimes work out.

In nearly 30 years of doing this work, Ryan and I have only 1 time ever left a meeting and had a discussion about calling the police over what we had heard in that meeting. For a specific technical reason we did not know for sure what to put into the police report. So instead I called back a pastor who was at that meeting and explained some background and what we had heard. He assured me he would follow up.

When I got home I wrote extensive notes in my personal diary as a record of what had happened and what we thought might be going on. I left notes on why we thought to call the police, and why I ultimately called the pastor instead. Take note, diary keeping is really important.

A couple weeks ago I got a phone call from the person we thought was the victim that night. It was now going to court and I was asked if I could help. I said I would help, and that I had notes from that night and would do a diary review before talking to the lawyer. That call with the lawyer happened this past Monday. That call alone took 2 hours and then there was another day as we exchanged emails and reviewed documents.

In the end this took all of Monday and Tuesday this week for me to do this work. It was also the most stressful 2 days I have ever had over these 30 years. It caused a sore neck and several sleepless nights. I was useless for regular work for the rest of this past week. All I could do in the shop was feed filament into the printers. I could not stop mentally reviewing everything that had happened, and wondering if I'd made a mistake not to call the police that night.

I was also caught in the scenario of what would I do if something like this ever happened again. No situation ever repeats the same way, so this would not repeat exactly the same way. Details would be different, and as they say, the devil is in the details.

I also know more about how I would engage the civil authorities. But, variations on this event was something I could not stop rerunning over and over again in my head.

Scripture admonishes believers not to engage secular authority for solving problems between believers. See 1 Corinthians 6:6-7. So to step up and help as I did this week was also an issue. But, that admonition also becomes cover, where believers want to go and hide when the right thing to do is get involved. (Also curious, that admonition is likely an addition, currently marked as a probable Ananias era edit.)

Part of what I learned this week was that of the many people who could come and witness with the legal side now, almost nobody was willing to get involved. Such a disgrace.

I believe I am finished with this round. By Thursday night I was sleeping again. I am available to the lawyer should I be needed again, and I am willing to travel to testify in court should that also be asked of me.

In any case, we travel and teach and preach with the hope of helping people grow in their walks with Joshua. In that activity, we sometimes find ourselves needing to help others in ways which are difficult, and in ways where we wish we did not need to get involved. This kind of activity is also what we implicitly agree to when we accept the call from Joshua.

Hopefully, my stress level will continue to come down so my regular work routine will return to normal next week, especially more normal code and 3d design work which I was mentally unable to touch this week.

Headline Review

The following headlines caught my attention this week.

Putin At WWII Graves in Alaska

The link here is to a Youtube video that documents Putin's visit to a cemetery in Alaska were he placed flowers on the graves of Soviet era pilots who died fighting in World War II. They were buried near Sitka.

That visit also included a face to face visit with the head of the Russian Orthodox church in Alaska. Most American media would consider this a side show, but it helps us to understand Putin's faith and character. This is the match to the burial details in the expected Abdon prophetic story.

Gifted Ural Motorcycle

The link here is to a Youtube video detailing the gift of a Ural brand motorcycle from Putin to a man in Alaska. Ural is a Russian made brand of motorcycles, and the man had trouble getting spare parts for his older Ural bike because of US sanctions against Russia.

That man had eventually spoken up on TV about this, and Putin heard about it. Putin gifted him a whole new motorcycle. Russians are particularly fond of giving gifts like this. The man himself was being roundly criticized on social media for accepting the gift, so I am not identifying him here.

I am sure this gift played well on Russian TV. But think about this as evidence of Putin's attention to details. This is more evidence of his generally high class act.

But, even better, this is another match to the Abdon prophetic story, in this case that Ural brand motorcycle is the expected colt.

Ukraine War Dead

The link here is to an RT post on X detailing leaked Ukrainian military personnel records that suggests so far, Ukraine has lost 1.7 million soldiers in their war with Russia.

Hal Turner has also picked up this story and breaks it down by year. 118.5K dead and missing in 2022, 405.5K in 2023, 595K in 2024, and 621K so far in 2025. Hal also adds that the Russian hackers involved also downloaded the complete inventory of weapons given to Ukraine, and who gave those weapons. In other words the hard evidence this is a NATO war against Russia. (Perhaps they also downloaded current locations?)

Russia, across history, has generally fought the west with wars of attrition. They basically sit tight and shoot the enemy until there are few remaining. Western Zionists have no patience against the chess playing Russians, so they loose their personnel and eventually the war.

mRNA Related Deaths in Newborn Children

The link here is to a summary article of a study looking at the death rate in newborn children. The trends in these death rates had been steadily moving down until early 2021 with the introduction of mRNA vaccines.

What is important in the article above is that the death rates in newborn babies fundamentally shifted at that point, pitching up, and it continues to climb, even now, 4+ years later.

mRNA vaccines look to have permanently damaged the population, and will continue to bring deaths in newborns for generations to come. The medical profession is itself a horrific source of crimes against humanity. It has probably caused more net deaths than it has ever saved in lives.

Solar Storm 14375 Years Ago

The link here is to a Youtube video on Anton Petrov's channel. In this video he reviews recent research dealing with an insanely powerful solar storm that hit earth 14375 years ago. (As of 2025.)

This caught my eye because this is about 1300 years ahead of the start of the calendar that counts time from Adam's fall. The event discussed in that video may be some sort of precursor event to what we know of from the text as the fall.

We generally take the story of Paul's shipwreck as a parable about what happened ahead of the fall. Briefly, Paul's ship was wrecked in a storm, marooning his traveling companions on an island. They made friends with the island natives before returning to their journey once winter was over.

That story late in Acts has a strange informational density problem related to the other stories in Acts. It has way more column inches of text than is typical for other stories in Acts. This is a manuscript related problem unless this story has some other literary purpose, different than the rest of Acts.

We currently understand Paul's shipwreck, the Bible's last large historical narrative, to be filling in details from the earliest stories in the Bible's historical narrative. If it is filling in missing details for an otherwise undocumented historical event, then slowing down and providing many details is important, for reasons not directly tied to Paul's other missionary work.

As a parable for Eden, Paul's shipwreck implies 1 branch of humans was traveling past our solar system. They got caught in a cosmic storm, and ended up with a wrecked ship and ultimately marooned on earth. Other people, Paul's friendly island natives, were already living on earth.

That ancient shipwreck may still be around, likely Pluto. Eden would be a rescue ship that arrives later, and current spiritual activity on earth being a healing process for all the souls involved.

In any case, the research reports discussed in the video above points at the sun as the likely source of a serious energetic event that can be picked up in ice cores and ancient tree rings. They have nowhere else to point to as the source. In the view I am proposing here it could have been trouble with ship equipment, so human caused, not just something natural with the sun. Or it could have otherwise been a storm from outside our solar system.

This report may become hard dated evidence to support part of this cosmic shipwreck view of the origin stories in Genesis. There is still crown/timeline work to do, but it may eventually match in time to some other documented pre-fall story from the text. The timeline section that chronicles that pre-fall era is the time ahead of Joshua's birth in the New Testament. In particular the various encounters with heavenly kings.

Leveling Gaza

The link here is to a 12 minute video clip from Redacted on their Youtube channel. In this video they cover Israeli media and a call up of 60,000 soldiers in order to level Gaza City.

I haven't covered Gaza much here recently because this headline venue is so terribly tragic. You can see near the end of that video clip, the hosts' own struggle to figure out why this is happening. There really is no good reason. The only obvious explanation they can offer is the ongoing Greater Israel project.

Perhaps this is the reason. But why now? Why so fast? Why 60,000 people to carry this out?

I would suggest this may be in preparation for their temple. This may be like a mother's nesting instinct when a baby is due. They are doing this quickly because they have a due date. We will keep monitoring this venue to see. In January 2026 we pass the first possible Temple start date. In another few months we will know for sure. We would expect Gaza cleared before building a temple.

Gaza started with about 2.5 million people. No one knows for sure, but perhaps so far 1 million of those are dead or missing. I saw another reference that estimated at least 400,000 missing people are now bodies under that rubble.

The relevant scripture for this story is 2 Samuel 12:1-10. That story establishes that intentional, wrongful, death is always repaid 4 fold. In David's case it meant his soul would have to die 4 times in the future to pay back for the killing of Uriah. Tracking David's soul in his future lives is an interesting study, but is beyond our scope here.

For a nation conducting wrongful death, so genocide, this same principle of repaying blood guilt sets the expected death rate across the killer's population. The current estimated total population of Israel is about 9.5 million. Should Israel completely genocide Gaza, so 2.5 million dead, then the rest of Israel will have accumulated a 10,000,000 headcount blood guilt. Notice how this guilt number is just enough to cover everyone living in Israel.

When that blood guilt debt is eventually repaid, Israel as we know it will cease to exist. Joshua seems to be allowing this genocide in Gaza to happen because it gives him the legal basis for removing all of Israel.

70 AD has its replay date late in 2028. But maybe this happens at some other time. We will see. I am suggesting here the eventual tragic ending to this current tragic headline.

More Later,

Phil
