Psalm 12
This blog uses Psalm 12 to introduce a new notation to our various scripture apps. Also in this blog are watch dates and headline review. Before that, a note of warning to anyone using our apps on Samsung hardware running Android with the Chrome Browser.
Chrome Browser Bug
Many of our users have our Web Apps installed on Android devices, so Android tablets or phones. There is a Chrome browser bug, thought to be active only on Samsung hardware, that impacts ALL web apps including ours.
If you previously installed any Web Apps like ours, and then later launch one of those Web Apps you can get an Android error message indicating the app itself needs Chrome to run. Android then gives you the chance to install Chrome. If you follow that link to the Android play store you find Chrome is already installed. Thus the bug.
There is nothing obvious about what to do to fix the problem at this point.
The actual fix appears to be to reboot your Samsung hardware. Rebooting the hardware fixes the connection between installed Web Apps and the Chrome browser.
The likely root cause is that Chrome was just updated, and Samsung's Android cannot figure this out until the next reboot.
Please let me know if you see this problem anywhere else. Even if not on Samsung hardware. In any case the fix, by rebooting the device, should be the same no matter the hardware.
This is a particularly serious bug for us because Lots History is kept with the installed app. For privacy reasons we've never considered saving that information on our server. But, if you ever reinstall any of our scripture based web apps that have a Lots Calculator, then you loose that important history when you reinstall. So it is important to try and fix this Chrome, Android, Samsung bug without reinstalling the app.
Chiasm
Most regular readers here should know that we often use a technique called Chiasm to understand structural elements of the text. The term itself is not our own term, Ryan learned it in Bible College. We would later learn about the folding nature of the alphabet and how the alphabet maps to stories, so we would later find that the Chiastic structure of inspired text can be used to good effect for finding the inspired stories.
Rows, for example, in the Table of 400 app, are all Chiastic in their structure. Columns will turn out to be as well. In these examples the actual reason why there is Chiasm is because there is an underlying alphabet fold, at least for the first 24 items in a 25 item list.
We also find the alphabet being used within stories, say story 624 with material from the Book Hebrews. It runs the alphabet and thus is also Chiastic, less, of course, that last 25th item.
Chiasm, in the Bible College textbook sense, is looser than we normally use in our work. The term is used to indicate that some passage, which can happen anywhere in the text, has some sort of folded structure.
When simple Chiasm is being used in a story, the elements of the story advance out to some center point, and then as the story continues, the story retraces topically back to a conclusion that is itself folding back to the starting point of the story. This is very similar to alphabet folding, but the number of elements in the run is of any arbitrary length, usually less than 24.
Passages that are written using this structure thus include an internal system of interpretation. Readers of a passage like this need to find the pairs that fold to each other. Then the pairs can be compared and/or contrasted in order to draw otherwise hidden meaning out of the passage.
Standard Notation
There is a standard manuscript markup notation for these Chiastic structures. Ryan has added that standard markup to his manuscript tagging system so he can annotate passages what are written using a chiastic structure. This markup is done in the BRB and is thus copied out to our other scripture apps that use the BRB as a base text. Typically this means that Chiastic structures marked in the BRB will also be found in the 400 and the TT apps.
Ryan is doing this in part to help crack Table of 400 riddles related to Proverbs and Psalms. These books have very little structural narrative that can otherwise be used to find inspired stories. So in these books, finding the inspired passages as a Bible study is very difficult to do. Every bit of possible meaning needs to be coaxed out of these books in order to find the inspired parts of these books. Chiasm is yet another tool for this task.
Psalm 12 (BRB)
The link here is to Psalms 12 in the BRB. I am going to use this Psalm in order to introduce the notation. This is a good example of a place where Chiasm brings to light otherwise hard to see meaning. Note you can also find Psalm 12 in the TT and 400, but the Psalm 12 address in those other apps is subject to change, so I am using the BRB so the link remains stable for future readers of this blog.
Because our scripture apps have a considerable variety of annotations available to readers, by default our apps do not show all available annotations. Chiasm annotation in our apps is usually disabled by default. Chiasm needs to be enabled in order to be seen in the text.
Chiasm is a type of Enumeration, similar to numbered lists, so you can enable Chiasm under the Enumeration options pop up which is itself under the top right menu. This is the same feature, by the same name, as found in the TT and 400 apps.
Once you have Enumerations enabled, you can then look at Psalms 12 and see there is a new annotation that is marking up the left hand side of the verses in that Psalm.
Reading down in that Psalm you can see that each verse has a Latin letter that is marking the Chiasm. In this example, A, B, C, X and then running that first set of letters backwards, and marked with a ', X', C', B' and A'.
The Latin letters used in this annotation fold from the top to the bottom. The prime mark, so the bottom verse with A', is said to be a Chiastic fold to the top verse, marked with A. It should be easy to see the pattern, A goes to A', B to B', C to C' and X to X'.
This is the standard Chiasm notation. In this case with 4 items folded together.
Passages that are structured using Chiasm can be of any length. So some other passage might have A through E instead of A through C as here. The Latin letters always count up from the start and then down at the end.
The middle of the Chiasm is conventionally marked with X and X'. The Latin letter X is the Greek letter Chi, thus the name for this notion. The center of the structure is thus always given with the X, no matter the number of Latin letters that might otherwise be assigned ahead of the X.
Passages that use this pattern will usually have a central topic at the X/X' pair. The Bible scholars who have developed this notation have generally found the center of the Chiasm to contain the key verse(s) and thus the consistent use of X/X' on those center verses.
Note also, that some passages only have a single X in the middle, and not a pair. This happens when there is only 1 verse in the middle. So you may see only X without an X' in other places. Psalm 12 does have a double center, so X and X' are both there.
As a final note here, let me warn that Chiasm can be found anywhere. We do not need any sort of annotation for this. But, once Chiasm is found, this markup makes it easier and faster for later readers to see that someone else has previously found Chiasm in the passage. This is like coloring up the voice of the speaker, or adding cites for remote quotes. It is simply a help for later readers to step up and quickly learn something about the passage in question. Most of the BRB is not yet marked with Chiasm, so beware. Just because there is no Chiasm markup does not mean there is no Chiasm in a passage.
OK, that is the notation. How do we use it? What does it mean?
Interpretation
When first looking at a passage like Psalms 12, we normally want to watch for parts that we can interpret by normal, non-Chiasm, means. If, say, a famous name had been used, say Abraham, or Joseph, or David, then we could draw in what we know about that name. In this Psalm there are no such famous names.
If there is a cross reference to some other story, say a reference to the Exodus, we may be able to use that to unpack the passage. In this Psalm there are also no such references. There really is no good way in this Psalm to bring other passages to bear on the problem of interpretation.
This particular Psalm does have a reference to Tent of Time items, so we should normally start with what we know about those items. Verse 7 references pure words that are refined as silver in a furnace 7 times.
This verse is a direct reference to the silver set of items in the exhibits. Normal, properly trained, readers of the text already know the items because when they were young their classroom had a copy. So this is hard for us now, because we did not have those when we were young, but this is not hard to see for the ideal reader of this Psalm.
These silver items sit on the vine. The vine has 7 layers. It is organized around the name Abraham, and it is a pointer at the audit system, showing by shared vowels which identifies the letters in the audit which are parallel to the letters in the name Abraham. So the silver set of items is the key to the audit system which does purify the inspired text from the writing of the editors. Abraham, of course, is thus a hidden reference to that key man of faith.
So we start to explain this Psalm through this subtle exhibit reference. Across the rest of this Psalm we see a general theme of faith and words. Some people have faith, some are without faith. Some words are pure, some are not. But how these concepts connect is not clear. Using the passage's Chiasm will draw out the rest of the meaning.
The Latin letters on the left side show what someone else has already found. They show off the verses that we as later readers need to pair off in order to gain more understanding of the passage. We can of course check this, just like we can check the color of the text to see if we agree with that annotation.
So in this second pass, using the hints provided by this notation, we can look at A paired to A', B to B', C to C' and then we can focus on the pairing in the middle, X to X'. But, there is a trick. X and X' will usually mark the most important pair for our study. This is why the middle does not have just a simple Latin letter.
Start In Middle
So as we riddle out the passage, we want to start in the middle of the Chiastic patterns and work out from there. Note by doing this we are no longer just linearly reading the passage. We are starting to jump around in order to get a fuller understanding of what the writer intended for us to learn.
Chiasm seems to mark passages that have meaning that will otherwise be lost to the casual or careless sequential reader. So finding a Chiasm hints that there is some sort of secret to be found if we slow down and read more carefully and read the passage out of order.
So to start in the middle we look at the verse marked with X. It discusses someone who wants to use flattering words to prevail. Because we know the meaning of the silver reference, we know this Psalm involves the game of editors who changed inspired text. We can now guess these flattering words are referencing the work of editors who want to hide inspired text. It tells us their motivation, they want to prevail, ultimately they want to rule the world.
After looking at the X verse we turn to the X' verse. This verse is in green text, so divine voice, and it says that salvation is the process of showing those editor's words false. So salvation is being rescued from the work of the editors.
This is a slightly different definition to salvation than we normally know from standard Christianity. We must be saved by Joshua, but from the work of the editors.
Backing out to C and C' we see that Master will destroy flattering lips and tongues that speak proud things by using silver tried in a furnace, so the audit pattern which weeds out that non-inspired writing.
Backing out again, to B and B' we learn that non inspired speech is written with vanity and a double heart.
Note here how B' uses the pronoun "them" to indicate what has been been kept from this generation forever. This either means that the words have been kept from evil generations, or that evil generations are kept away from the words. Unclear at this point which meaning is meant. In any case, this gap is created when the words are refined like silver in fire.
Finally, backing out to A and A' we learn that this problem happens when faith disappears from the land and A' when the wicked walk everywhere with contemptible pride like the children of Adam. Note curiously that A and A' are not contrasting, but compliments. Chiasm, as here, can be quite nuanced.
Notice how the tool of Chiasm gives us a trick we need to unpack a story that may otherwise be missed by casual readers.
Stay Tuned for More
This is just a taste of what will come as Ryan gets this notation added into the BRB text. You should be able to see here why getting Chiasm markup is important to solving the Table of 400.
By bringing meaning to places like Psalm 12, this new markup sets up for folding that cell of the Table of 400 out to more distant cells across the rest of the Table of 400.
Watch Dates
The next 2 watch dates that we are monitoring are 2025-09-05, so the Friday after this blog goes out, and then 2025-09-06, which is the next day, Saturday. I am setting out the watch dates this week so we have time for headlines that might already be going on when we get to next week's blog.
2025-09-05 is the replay of the last year of Samson's life. See Judges 16:23 for a cite. Note that Samson died when pushing over 2 columns and killing 3000 Philistines on the roof.
Note also that this replayed previously, with the 911 events in September of 2001. But note also that replay was after a mercy delay and if it replays precisely on this timeline with the same mercy delay we would watch for headlines this coming November. Also note that the head of the company at the top of those towers is now part of Trump's team. So this story is very close to the current Trump administration, not as much New York City in 2001.
In any case, this is still a serious headline to be mindful of this coming week.
The following day, 2025-09-06, is the start of the first year when Eli Judged. See 1 Samuel 4:18 for the cite. Eli will run through 2025-10-15.
We currently see Eli as an evil character. Hannah's prayer seems to be in part about praying to tear down Eli's evil system. Eli's sons were even worse than Eli. There was war with the Philistines which itself lead to Eli's defeat.
Gaza may be an important venue for the replay of Eli. Also note that Samuel looks to have been trapped in some sort of child abuse scheme involving Eli. Samuel is the textual character who survived such abuse as a child and went on to great things as an adult. Full details are not given in the text for obvious reasons. Think Epstein files or worse.
Shop Work
This week I finished 3d printing the back side of the Script exhibit. Assembly was also finished this week. Watch for pics on Telegram as this blog goes out.
I have generally been staying out of the shop because hot weather has returned. One night when I locked up the shop it was 89 degrees, with 84 the next morning. I've got a medical issue which comes up from dehydration, so I need to be very careful around heat like this.
Instead I've been working on code. The new build environment for the 3d models is now running.
This rewrite was driven by what I learned on the Script exhibit. That exhibit has a very large number of individual tiles, 832, on the front. Except for the trim, each tile is unique and designed for a specific location.
The old build environment could only handle parameterization along a single axis, say a row of tiles in the Script exhibit. The new build environment can handle any number of parameterization axis. Say both rows and columns.
For certain types of designs, this significantly reduces the total number of design files that are needed. The Ladder exhibit, for example, went from 22 files to 1 file in order to call out all 220 rungs in that exhibit.
I've learned a bunch building this Script exhibit as well. Each tile is marked on the back with what is essentially the row/column where the tile belongs in the final assembled exhibit. This is the first time I've done this sort of part marking on the back.
This was absolutely critical for this exhibit in order to get it assembled correctly. I still made mistakes which are related to care in the shop after the 3d printing is over. Without those marks on the back, correct assembly would have been impossible. The fronts of some of the tiles are almost impossible to distinguish from each other.
The Joseph's Robe exhibit needs to be redesigned to use the new build environment and to call out each tile with a unique address. I can easily imagine someone with a 3d print farm trying to create Joseph's Robe and having no hope of building a correct and complete assembly given the design as it stands now.
Headline Review
The following headlines caught my eye this week.
UK Needs IMF Loan?
The link here is to a Duran video on Youtube. Our normal hosts discuss how the UK may need an IMF loan to balance its finances.
Note this is less than 2 weeks after the EU leaders met Trump in the White House. Similar reports are coming from France, which may also need an IMF loan. Germany is also now having financial troubles.
Looks like most EU countries will soon be announcing similar economic troubles. They spent their wad on fighting Russia, then lost. No plunder from Putin's Russia, so now a time of austerity.
Rather than having a planned debt Jubilee, the bankers just pile on more debt. It is a fundamentally unstable financial system.
Has WWIII Begun?
The link here is to a Patrick Lancaster video on his Youtube channel. If you don't know the name, he is an independent American journalist who generally travels with Russians in Ukraine.
This video starts as a normal war-front report, but then Patrick runs into a Russian commander who shares his mind with Patrick about the war in Ukraine This is not official Russian government speech. Turn on English subtitles to track what is being said.
That commander knows a bunch about Russian history with the west. He goes long on the Lend Lease treaty. I was shocked when I watched this video that anyone currently in Russia would care about that 1941 treaty.
That Lend Lease treaty is the Seal Date document that identifies the USA and the UK as the lost tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim. So it is a prophetic, and biblical, document behind riddles in Revelation 7.
Reading about that treaty from the microfilms of the New York Times from 1941, as I did, does not do justice to the crime that was being committed by the criminal heirs to Joseph. If that commander is to be believed, and his command of the related subjects suggests so, then the last payment Russia made on that treaty was done in gold under Putin's watch.
That commander knows a ton about the history and thus future of war between Russia and Europe. He expects this war to end only when the Russian flag is planted on the roof of the German parliament, just like the end of World War II. He expects this for reasons he explains, including his view of the schedule, maybe 5 to 10 years. Watch the video for more.
John Helmer on Dialog Works
The link here is to an interview by Nima Alkhorshid of John Helmer on Nima's Youtube channel.
I am citing this interview because of comments made by John related to the war in Ukraine. In a recent video, the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov called the Ukraine war a "war of empire." John considers this as an extremely serious use of the term. He interprets Lavrov in some important ways.
I don't think Nima was up to the task of getting John to tell us all he knows about Russia's understanding of this war. Nima should have asked John to give him a detailed list of questions before the interview that John wanted to answer on this topic. Podcasts are not gotcha interviews like on network TV.
This interview was the first time someone was detailing the general western war against Russia in a way that both uses correct historical terms and which starts to map the scale as we understand the war from the text. John, citing Lavrov, is calling this a war of "empire" which means a bunch of serious things.
By this John means this is at least a multi generational war. It is a war where the "west" is trying to bring Russia into the western empire by conquering it. The Russians are knowingly fighting this war against the empire, Lavrov tells us this by the way he speaks.
This is of course the war to setup a world capital at Jerusalem. That city itself is more likely to burn down than become such a capital, but I digress. We'll know for sure as the timeline unfolds over the years to come. In any case, this is a rough but interesting video to start a correct conversation about the trouble Russian leadership knows it is facing.
Jackson Hole
The world's central bankers get together each year at Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The 2019 meeting is thought by many, championed by Catherine Austin Fitts, to have been the meeting when the Bankers decided to launch Covid 19, most likely to reduce the total number of living retirees that bankers fund through pensions.
The link here is to a Zero Hedge article dealing with their 2025 gathering. This time their focus was on demographics and migration into western countries. This is a strange echo back to 2019. They care about such things because they play god. Also, of course, because of problems of national debt service. Without a scheduled planned debt jubilee, the modern financial system requires economic growth. Their empire must keep growing. No word yet if they decided to release another pandemic. If they did, we presumably will learn about that some time next year.
Cracker Barrel Cracks Up
Part II
The 2 links above are to early and late Zero Hedge articles dealing with Cracker Barrel's woke rebrand. After serious backlash, they are walking back the change in logo, but not their woke ideology. Part II covers much of the backlash. The public is now very fast to attack stupid companies that have lost touch with their customers.
Think about this using the model of battle for empire. Executive offices in companies no longer run by founders are ripe for being conquered by the same forces that want to take over Christian Russia.
Covert War In Iran
The link here is to an RT post on X. I am giving it here for reference. It has some photographic evidence of stuff going on inside Iran. Many other reports suspect that Israel is currently conducting a covert war inside Iran, in particular against energy and water infrastructure.
This may have begun on some date where we don't have media visibility. Perhaps it should now be considered an active war. If Iran shoots back, then Israel will claim Iran started the war, not Israel. More empire of lies.
Turkey Starts Building Bomb Shelters
There was a reference on Hal Turner dated August 27, 2025, that Turkey has now suddenly decided to start building bomb shelters across their country. The link above is to what appears to be the source report on Mehr News.
The normal questions to ask, Why now? Why the rush?
The likely answer is that the empire has changed their intended venue for conquering Russia from Ukraine to Turkey.
This means that whatever happened behind the scenes from Alaska to the EU Leaders visiting Trump's office, it really has changed the plan for war in Ukraine. Bomb shelters show up in the news because they are local places that everyone may see getting worked. The Turkish military probably has a bunch of other preparations that are underway but which we cannot yet see.
This is in agreement with Paisios' general prophetic for this war, the nuclear exchanges between Russia and the west happen because of a war that starts in Turkey. Perhaps Turkey reads Paisios? Probably not. Perhaps Turkey reads this blog? Probably not.
Turkey and Israel
The link here is to a post on X by Lord Bebo that cites a Reuters report dated August 29, 2025, indicating Turkey is cutting off relations with Israel because of events in Gaza. Hal Turner also picked up this headline. Turkey is part of Israel's bankers' NATO empire, so this move by Turkey is likely theater. Other posts on X suggest air traffic and shipping continues as normal. Turkey supplies much of Israel's oil, which is another test of how real this may be.
In any case, this is another example of war rumblings in Turkey, this one 2 days after news of their decision to build bomb shelters.
Ukraine Borders Open
The link here is to an RT post on X with a widely circulating report that on August 28, 2025, the EU forced Ukraine to open its borders to allow young men aged 18 to 22 to flee the country. They had previously been prevented from leaving. Other reports suggest that many Ukrainian men in that cohort are fleeing as quickly as possible.
This is another report that indicates the empire has changed its mind about conquering Russia via Ukraine. In this case, by removing the flow of possible soldiers into the Ukraine army, they are hurrying along the end of the fighting in Ukraine. There is ultimately a single mind, a single person, who is making these decisions.
Starship Flight 10
The link here is to a Scott Manly video on Youtube giving a summary for the August 26, 2025, launch of Starship flight 10. The flight met all planned objectives, splashing down as planned in the Indian Ocean. But, it happened with a couple of nail biters along the way as Scott explains.
Congratulations to the Space X team for a great flight. Elon Musk's Space X is giving a little bit of joy in an otherwise dark time.
More Later,
Phil
