2026-2027 Prophetic Dates
This article lists off the important prophetic dates that run from early 2026 into early 2027. This is reference material. More details are covered in the blog as these dates pass.
Returning?
We are currently watching for the Plague of Blood.
Timeline Framework
The Bible Time project has an extensive study on the timeline of the Bible. There are many different timelines that can be created from study of the bible.
Perhaps the most interesting is the day-accurate, 2000th anniversary, replay of the chronicle of Joshua's life. Because there is not much New Testament details on his life chronology, this may not seem like such an interesting study.
But his life was a day-for-a-year replay of the trunk chronology of the Bible itself. So we can overlay that chronology onto Joshua's life and thus onto the 2000th anniversary replay of his life.
The actual timeline in question began replaying in September of 1998. The main headline at the time involved the then leader of Iran traveling with friends to the United Nations in New York City. Shortening the story, he was replaying the story of the wise men from the east off to see the birth of Joshua.
For much of the rest of the timeline there is not very many dates of interest. It will get very interesting in 2028 when we see the modern replay of the bulk of Joshua's ministry year.
Across the Old Testament part of the Bible's Chronology, perhaps the most interesting is the time of the kings who ruled from Jerusalem. This began with Saul but became more interesting once Solomon began to rule.
Solomon is important because he built the temple and created the false manuscript traditions that started in his day. Solomon was effectively a child of Jebus, the former name of the city of Jerusalem. Though he held a copy of the scriptures from before his day, he became the first of the villainous nearly pagan editors who would change sacred scripture for his own purposes. The rest of this website deals with our attempt to undo Solomon's evil work.
Solomon's reign replays prophetically starting at 2026-01-14. At that point it was a co-reign with his aging father, king David. Solomon reigning alone begins replaying on 2026-01-18.
From those dates forward we will be watching the history of the rest of the Jerusalem kings as their stories inform modern headlines in some prophetic way.
Kings As Plagues
Another component of this period in the timeline relates to how those Jerusalem kings were also replaying the 430 years of the time in Egypt.
The story of Samuel explains some key details. By asking for a king, so a pharaoh, the people of Samuel's day rejected Joshua as their active king. What this did was effectively cause a return to living in Egypt. They did not physically move there. Solomon, instead, would marry an Egyptian wife and bring Egypt to the people.
It was 430 years in historical Egypt, and it was 430 years from Solomon's temple until the Babylonian captivity. This is was explored in detail in the 2025-10-24 Plagues Blog.
This is important because the scant narrative of the 430 years in Egypt gets amplified when combined with the story of the Jerusalem kings. That blog goes into the full theory of how the Plagues story on Egypt melds together with the kings of Jerusalem.
That blog is where I first published the results of melding the story of Egypt with the story of the kings. It also gives the dates.
What follows here is that same list, but in better format where the matched headlines can also be recorded for future reference. I will cover the dates as they happen in the blog, but note them here as a permanent list.
What Follows
The rest of this article gives the plague name from Egypt and event during the reign of the kings. Each header is followed by active links to the key passages in the BRB if you want to read more.
Then each event has 1 or more historical years, say 9987 AA and then one or more modern dates, say 2026-01-24. The whole calendaring system itself for counting years is developed in detail on bibletime.com. For use on this page those years become day numbers within Joshua's life when then become modern Gregorian dates as given. These modern dates are when these ancient stories would be expected to replay in some fashion.
Some dates have issues within the text where the match from the Egypt story to the Kings story is unclear. These disputes give rise to alternative dates which are marked with a prefix of *. The notes that follow the dates explain the nature of the dispute.
Plague of Blood | Temple Dedication
The plague of blood is described in Exodus 7:14 while the temple dedication is found in 1 Kings 8:62-66.
Key Dates
9987 AA: 2026-01-24
*10000 AA: 2026-02-06
Notes
The plague of blood is given in Exodus 7:14-24. The context appears to be Pharaoh going to the river as a regular practice. The plague may have been caused by Pharaoh, see Exodus 7:22. Blood is said to be everywhere, the Egyptians cannot drink the water of the river. Nothing in that story says what Pharaoh did at the river, nor does it indicate where the blood came from.
The matched story is Solomon's Temple dedication. There are many details that are covered in 1 Kings 8. But, the key cite is 1 Kings 8:62-66. This is where we learn that 22,000 Oxen and 120,000 sheep were slaughtered at the time of that dedication. Blood was everywhere.
This match back to Pharaoh suggests Egypt had a similar temple system and that they also had some sort of sacrifice system. This is probably where Solomon learned the practice, his first wife was Egyptian. In Acts 15, Solomon, our first editor, is called out with the keyword "sacrifice." Solomon was adding sacrifice as a practice into the inspired text. We are under that plague whenever we think God ever wanted a sacrifice.
Dating the replay of this is not easy. Following a reference in 1 Kings 6:38, the Temple itself was finished in 9987 AA. But Solomon was not completely done, with another 13 years on his palace. He was working towards a 10 fold millennium break at the year 10,000 AA, which is likely when he held a massive gathering at Jerusalem. Think Y2K celebrations for those old enough to remember. 10,000 AA is an alternative year for this to replay.
Plague of Frogs | Solomon's Wives
The plague of frogs is described in Exodus 8:1 while Solomon's wives are described in 1 Kings 11.
Key Dates
10,016 AA: 2026-02-22
Notes
The cite for the plague of frogs is Exodus 8:1-15. This is the story of the plague of frogs. These come up from the river and enter houses and even beds. This is the rated G version of this story. Likely this is known in modern vocabulary as venereal diseases. These exist in bed. The reference to the river may have a double meaning as well.
When we were watching for this plague in early 2008 this was the resignation of Elliot Spitzer. He was the governor of the state of New York. He had been a regular at a high class brothel. That controversy caused him to resign. That headline helps focus us on looking for some sort of 1 Kings, or Solomon, story involving sexual immorality and many women.
The key cite for Solomon's side of this is 1 Kings 11:1-13. In that story we learn that he had many foreign women. 300 wives and 700 concubines.
Not remaining faithful, to a wife of your youth, from your own tribe, is a sign of living in Egypt. Solomon broke this principle more than most. Moses wrote about this problem extensively in Proverbs.
In rethinking this story, it may be that Solomon's 1000 women may be the workers in his own brothel, especially that last group of 700. The book "Protocols of Zion" explains how sexual blackmail is required against anyone that the Zionist lobby wants to fund into high office.
This blackmail is used to rid politicians later who do not comply with their orders on how to rule. Elliot Spitzer was hounded out of office not because of his sexual immorality, but because he was not following orders.
The Epstein files are likely the current example of this. Those are the documents from Epstein's brothel. They represent sexual blackmail on many in high US government office. This is the domain where we would expect to see some sort of headline. Trump's Mar-a-lago is thought by some to be another example of a high class brothel. Epstein had offices near by.
Solomon's wives are not a dated story. The 1 Kings 11 chapter moves from discussing those women to discussing when Solomon was old. I've listed the last year of Solomon's life, so 10,016 AA, as the date to watch. Any matched headline could come before, up to about 2 weeks earlier.
Plague of Gnats | Baasha from Dust
The plague of gnats is described in Exodus 8:16 while the story of Baasha's dust is described in 1 Kings 16.
Key Dates
10,063 AA: 2026-04-10
Notes
The key cite for the plague of gnats, or lice, is Exodus 8:16-19. This is a relatively short plague. The dust is struck and it kicks up a swarm of gnats.
There is a dust reference in a prophecy in 1 Kings 16:2 that calls out the northern king, Baasha, as from out of the dust. So that king, or else all northern kings, are like the plague of gnats that comes up out of the dust.
Using Jerusalem as the point of reference, the northern kings may be considered something like gnats or lice. Small details that need attention but are hard to get rid of.
The likely date to watch for this is computed from the death of Baasha in the 27th year of the reign of King Asa. See 1 Kings 16:10 for that cite. This was in the year 10,063 AA.
In the 2008 plagues series this was the sudden grounding of most of the US based fleet of MD-80s over rivet problems in wheel wells. At the time, this looked like government incompetence.
These days I see that headline as probable payback to Boeing for keeping quiet about high crimes committed using their aircraft. Their airplanes are network connected and report back to Boeing about where they have been and what has been going on. Boeing knows a lot about what is going on with their aircraft, including all flight paths. Think 911.
In any case, this grounding forced airlines to replace those aircraft early using B-737 models. Someone in the political world may have paid Boeing off by causing a large order for new Boeing aircraft.
Plague of Arab | Jezebel/Athaliah
The plague of the Arab (mistaken as flies) is described in Exodus 8:20 while the story of Jezebel, mother of Athaliah, is described in 2 Kings 11.
Key Dates
10,111 AA: 2026-05-28
*10,118 AA: 2026-06-04
Notes
Problems understanding this plague in 2008 caused us to start to think about doing our own original language apps. The problem involved the key vocabulary word "Flies." Other than this single use, the underlying word is normally translated Arab. The BRB uses the term Arab for this plague and this is correct to the Aramaic.
The key cite for this is Exodus 8:20-32. They story involves a Great Arab who was brought to the house of Pharaoh in order to take over Egypt. While this is going on, a special place, Goshen, the home for Moses' people, would not see the rule of that Arab. The Arab, whatever else he may be, is a foreigner.
The matched 2 Kings story for this is the reign of Athaliah. The key cite is 2 Kings 11. Athaliah was the mother of Ahaziah, who was killed in his first year of reign. Athaliah proceeded to kill off all the other royal seed and then reigned herself for 6 years. The year of Ahaziah's reign was also the likely year of the death of Ahab and Jezebel. Jezebel was also a foreigner.
While this 6 year reign of Athaliah was going on, Ahaziah's son Joash was hidden, along with his nurse, by a sister of Ahaziah. Joash was first hidden in that sister's bedroom and then in the "house of master" which is presumably the temple.
Because of widespread violence in the year of the death of Ahaziah, I will use the year of his death, 10,111 AA, as the indicated year. This may be a week early. Joash begins his reign after Athaliah in the year 10,118 AA, which would be the alternative year to watch for a replay related headline.
Note also how that hidden royal heir is living in a place like Goshen, a small place where the reign of Athaliah does not reach. Joash is brought out of hiding in 10,118 AA, which is the alternative end to this plague.
Finally, of note, the September 2008 interview of then candidate Barack Obama, where he slipped on the point of his Muslim, so Arab, faith marked the match from that time to this story. Obama was a foreigner too.
Plague on Livestock | Temple Rebuilt, Plundered
The plague on livestock is described in Exodus 9 while the rebuilding of the temple is described in 2 Kings 12.
Key Dates
10140 AA: 2026-06-26
*10156 AA: 2026-07-12
Notes
The cite for this plague is Exodus 9:1-7. The animals plagued are 1) cattle, 2) horses, 3) donkeys, 4) camels, 5) oxen and 6) sheep. But only on pharaoh's animals and not on the animals of the heirs of Jacob.
The matched story appears to involve King Joash. This is the king who was sheltered from Athaliah. He seems to have wanted the temple rebuilt in part because he spent his early years there. He sets up a silver collection system to fund the work, but this is not spent on repairs. Apparently the priests themselves needed the money to live on.
At this point we are seeing the first round of this plague. The offerings, in this case of silver and not animals, are being plagued.
By the 23rd year of his reign there is some sort of reconciliation and both the workers and the priests take different types of offerings and the work to rebuild can commence. The year for this is 10140 AA. So the workers and priests are now plaguing the offered animals. Someone who raised an animal had to sell it and give the silver. No matter the steps, the animal is plagued.
The key cite for the next round of trouble is 2 Kings 12:17 when foreign king Hazael comes up and attacks Jerusalem. Joash must then take various articles from the temple and palace and give them to Hazael in order to get Hazael to go away.
In the 2008 run of the plagues, most of the headlines were financial, the American financial system was collapsing. The core set of assets in the modern system are stocks and bonds. "Stock" is a general cover word that includes the cattle, horses, donkeys, camels, oxen and sheep mentioned in the plague. Real value for households has historically been in the farm animals, thus the dual use of this word.
For Joash, his offerings of silver was first apparently plundered by the priests, but then all the standing value in the "vaults" were taken by Hazael. The other financial asset is silver and gold, which is what Hazael plundered too.
Note: When Ryan and I first sketched out the list of plagues, we originally listed this plague as related to a different event, when the northern kingdom has the army reduced to 50 horsemen and 10 chariots. This is directly calling out the idea that there were only 50+10=60 horses left in the northern kingdom.
This match is also interesting because it picks up the distinction, where the plague only landed on pharaoh, not on Goshen. But it is a reverse of what we would expect given Jerusalem as the prophetic seat of pharaoh.
The cite for this alternative match to the plague is 2 Kings 13:1-9, especially vs. 7. This was in the 17th year of Jehoahaz which itself started in the 23rd year of Joash. This is a 16 year offset from the temple related date of the restoration. This lands in 10,156 AA, which is an alternate date for a possible plague headline.
Plague: Boils | Leprosy
The plague of boils is described in Plague: Boils while the story of the leprous king is described in 2 Kings 15.
Key Dates
10238 AA: 2026-10-02
*10228 AA: 2026-09-22
Notes
The Plague of Boils is given in Exodus 9:8-12. In that story, ash from a furnace is cast into the air and it becomes fine dust. This causes boils and sores on the children of men and animals in all the land of Egypt.
The matched king for this is Azariah, also known as Uzziah. His story is given in 2 Kings 15:1-7. In vs. 5 of that passage we learn that at some point he was struck and became a leper, living in seclusion the rest of his life.
Lepers, of course, have a form of contagious skin disease. It is a specific type of boil. So this king is the match to the plague. The interesting twist is how the boils caused this king to live in seclusion.
The text itself does not indicate that this was a widespread plague in Azariah's day, but this can be assumed.
Azariah died in 10,238 AA. His son was in his 25th year at the time of his father's death. His son is said to have ruled for his father, so his father could have become a leper maybe up to 10 years before his death. The exact dating is not given. So I have listed an alternative date as 10,228 AA. But this watch date may still be late.
Plague of Hail | Assyrian Deportation
The story of the plague of hail is described in Exodus 9:13 while the Assyrian Deportation is described in 2 Kings 18
Key Dates
10276 AA: 2026-11-09
*10284 AA: 2026-11-17
Notes
The plague of hail is given in Exodus 9:13-35. It is one of the longest plagues in term of the amount of text. Moses is sent to pharaoh where Moses warned of the hail. The plague details include perishing from the land and being sent to declare Joshua's name throughout the land. It then goes on and indicates that men and animals must be brought into the house lest they die. Only in Goshen was there no hail.
The match for this is the Assyrian Deportation. This happens during the reign of Hezekiah. His reign includes the fall of Samaria as well as the siege of Jerusalem. The key cite is 2 Kings 18:1-16 which includes the dates for the fall of Samaria. The first year of the 3 year siege of Samaria was 10274 AA. In the heading above I list the last of those 3 years because the focus is likely on the fall of Samaria. Matched headlines may start earlier than I have listed.
Hezekiah's story continues and includes details of the famous siege of Jerusalem. The Assyrians eventually return home without conquering the city. The only people left in the land are those who were within that city. Sennacherib's attack on Jerusalem itself was in Hezekiah's 14th year, which I chart as 10284 AA, see 2 Kings 18:13. The shelter provided by Jerusalem's walls is the match to Goshen and being "in the house" during the plague of hail.
It takes 3 years before the normal planting and harvest cycle returns. See 2 Kings 19:29.
The plague of hail is of course from the sky. Hezekiah also has a sign in the sky. In his case the sun went back 10 steps, see 2 Kings 20:11.
Lost to most readers, the Assyrian Deportation meant the loss of nearly all the population of the people who had first entered the land in Joshua son of Nun's day. The fall of Samaria marked the start of the counting of years at the City of Rome. This system if year counting is known as the AUC calendar. This system of dates began at this point because the city of Rome was founded by refugees from Samaria. Headlines may track this side of the story in some strange way.
Plague of Locusts | Manasseh's Innocent Blood
The plague of locusts is described in Exodus 10 while the shedding of innocent blood by Manasseh is described in Manasseh's Innocent Blood.
Key Dates
10354 AA: 2027-01-26
*10333 AA: 2027-01-04
*10409 AA: 2027-03-22
Notes
The next plague is the plague of locusts. The cite is Exodus 10:1-20. The Locusts are said to come on the border and strip the land of all that is left from the previous plague of hail. Note the emphasis on the border and on the stripping of the land.
When Ryan and I brain stormed this series, we assigned this plague to the Assyrian deportation itself. In some sense the plague is coincident with the plague of hail, so it may be part of that plague and not independent. I've shifted away from that date and the dates given here are an alternative which are about 2 months later.
This alternative match to this plague is Manasseh's work to setup widespread false religion. The cite is 2 Kings 21:5, where Manasseh "built altars for all the host of the skies in the 2 courts of the house of the Master, and he caused his son to pass through the fire, and used divinations, and practiced augury, and made necromancers and wizards, and he worked much evil in the sight of the Master to provoke him to anger."
Whatever faith remained after Hezekiah, was now stripped away and gone by Manasseh. I am treating him as a great locust.
Manasseh is also said to have shed very much innocent blood. See 2 Kings 21:1-18. So he is going around killing people.
King Manasseh is the only king with a name matched to a tribe. That tribe is the USA. These passages describe well many things that have happened in the USA, a place of many false religions.
Nothing in Manasseh's reign is dated, so I am using the last year of his life/reign, 10,354 AA for timing this plague. There are 2 alternatives, one earlier and the other later. Let me explain.
Within that list of what king Manasseh was doing, we can focus in on the idea that he caused his son to pass through the fire. This can be taken as the human sacrifice of babies. Americans do this now when they get jobs at abortion clinics. Yet king Manasseh did have a son which survived to become king Amon. So presumably king Manasseh realized killing his heirs was not all that great of a practice. Americans need to do the same. In any case, Manasseh's surviving son, king Amon, had his first year of life in 10,333 AA, which is an earlier marker for when this plague might be dated.
Note that king Manasseh's human sacrifice has a milder, historical, traditional, interpretation which is taught in Bible colleges. This alternative interpretation is less personally condemning of king Manasseh and his temple practices. In this other interpretation, the actions of this king are said to have caused the city of Jerusalem to be burned down in the future when the Babylonians invaded.
This interpretation may be rated PG, which Zionist interpreters would want, but it shifts the plague's fulfillment out of sequence, which is an implied constraint on the overall study we are doing here. The plagues are written about in such a way that we are to understand them as sequential. So I would generally reject that interpretation here. But, for completeness, I have listed 10,409 AA, the year of that burning, as a 3rd possible date for this plague.
Note in 2002, when this Jerusalem kings series was running, general headlines involved EU and NATO expansion east, in contradiction to promises earlier made to Russia. NATO was spreading Manasseh's, so America's, false religion to lands in the east, into Orthodox Europe, making them insane too.
Using the traditional interpretation of king Manasseh's activities, we could take that 2002 inclusion of eastern European countries as eventually causing those new sons to face eventual deaths by nuclear fire. The same would perhaps apply now to Ukraine.
All of this may not even happen within this early 2027 general time frame. We currently expect nuclear war to begin in 2029.
Plague of Darkness | Josiah Finds Scroll
The plague of darkness is described in Exodus 10 while the story of Josiah finding a lost scroll is described in 2 Kings 22.
Key Dates
10357 AA: 2027-01-29
*10374 AA: 2027-02-15
Notes
The next plague is the plague of darkness. During this plague, there is darkness over all the land of Egypt, but there is light in the houses of the children of Jacob. The cite is Exodus 10:21-29.
This plague is the hardest to date-fix within the Jerusalem King's story line. This may be in part because the plague of darkness lasted 3 days, which is longer than most plagues and suggests a season of darkness instead of a point event. If it runs as a long interval, it probably runs across the entire reign of King Manasseh and Amon, ending in Josiah's reign.
For this list I am going to use the first year of king Josiah's reign, 10,357 AA. Chronicles supplies other dates for certain years early in his reign, but we generally don't like Chronicles as a source. So the 10,357 AA may be up to 12 days early. See 2 Chronicles 34:3 for the 12th year stories.
At some point early in his reign he will commission rebuilding of the temple. As part of that work a lost copy of the scrolls is found and taken to the king. The king then realized something very strange had been found.
At 2 Kings 22:14-20 Huldah, the local prophetess, explains how evil will come on the land because they have forsaken the words in the scroll and done evil.
This is back referencing the work of Manasseh as contrasted to Hezekiah. This is why the darkness may have been going on since Hezekiah. But forsaking the words in that scroll could have been going on from as far back as Solomon himself. Evidence of this is how no other king apparently ever celebrated Passover.
Huldah then explains that King Josiah will not see the evil that will come on the land. She is implying Josiah is in the light because he has that document. Everyone else across the land is in darkness as per the earlier plague.
With this we have the likely reference from the plague story itself that there will be light in the houses of the sons of Jacob.
The problem is fixing an independent date, because this story is said to be in the 18th year of king Josiah. He will also hold an unusual Passover in that same year.
The 18th year of Josiah is 10,374 AA, which I have listed above as an alternative date for this plague.
One more point on this plague. The lamp exhibit is key to the audit pattern and is a symbol for the inspired text. The workmen had apparently found an inspired text, which marks that discovery so the document itself is the light within the plague of darkness.
This plague has a strange personal application as well. We are working towards manuscript recovery. If our work is called out prophetically, so finding a long lost inspired manuscript, then this prophetic date may suggest when our work reaches some key recovery point, so in early 2027.
Plague of Firstborn | Passover
The plague of firstborn is described in Exodus 11 and the first Passover is described in Exodus 12 while Josiah's Passover is described in 2 Kings 23:21-23.
Key Dates
10374 AA: 2027-02-15
Notes
The last plague is the plague on firstborn. This plague happens coincident to the first Passover. The firstborn plague is described in Exodus 11. The Passover is described in Exodus 12:1-30.
King Josiah's own Passover will be the matched fulfillment. Nobody else through the time of the kings is described as celebrating a Passover. The lost scroll found during rework on the temple may have described it in ways that had been lost. Perhaps this was just a regular annual Passover that was held, but only this one was worthy of documentation.
In any case, Josiah's Passover was held in his 18th year which was 10,374 AA. The cite is 2 Kings 23:23.
Spoil Egypt | Babylonian Tribute
The story of spoiling Egypt is described in Exodus 12 while the story of paying Babylonian tribute is described in Daniel 1.
Key Dates
10390 AA: 2027-03-03
Notes
The transition from the Passover to the departure is essentially without a time break. The first documented part of the Exodus is spoiling of the Egyptians, which comes right on the heals of the Passover. The cite is Exodus 12:31-42.
The Jerusalem kings are spoiled at the time when King Nebuchadnezzar first attacks Jerusalem. He is making Jerusalem his vassal and demanding tribute back to the Babylonian empire. The timing is best seen in Daniel 1:1, where we get the year, the 3rd year of Jehoiakim, and we can see some of the spoil that Nebuchadnezzar is taking. That year was 10,390 AA.
Nebuchadnezzar will now demand regular tribute from Jerusalem which will cause the remaining kings to look for ways to get out of that tribute, leading to the very last event, the replay of the loss of Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea Crossing.
Red Sea Crossing | Babylonian Captivity
The Red Sea crossing is described in Exodus 14 while the Babylonia captivity is described in 2 Kings 25.
Key Dates
*10407 AA: 2027-03-20
10409 AA: 2027-03-22
*10428 AA: 2027-04-10
Notes
The last event in the Exodus series is getting to the edge of the Red Sea and then the crossing. In that crossing the sons of Jacob make it out of Egypt alive, while pharaoh and his army drown in the sea. The key part of this story is given in Exodus 14.
There is a complicated chronology for the time after Nebuchadnezzar's siege begins. Several of the dates are month accurate. There is both the years of Nebuchadnezzar's rule and the years of the rule of the kings. The details of this complexity are not particularly important here.
The final round of the battle for Jerusalem began with a Babylonian siege in the 9th year of the reign of Zedekiah. See Jeremiah 39:1. That was the year 10,407 AA. The wall was broke through and the city burned in the 11th year of Zedekiah, see Jeremiah 39:2. That was the year 10409 AA.
Note that there are more waves of refugees/captives that are taken from Jerusalem and that general area for another 19 years, so up through about 10,428 AA.
This is basically at the end of the plagues series itself, and it is at the end of the rule of Jerusalem. Jerusalem would remain mostly empty for the following 70 years. Let me explore the end of that captivity just for future reference.
Last Year of Captivity
Key Dates
10479 AA: 2027-05-31
Notes
For reference, the last of those 70 years is given here, 10,479 AA, replaying May 31, 2027. At that point the story turns to the rebuilding of the temple and the city of Jerusalem.
